It’s the tenth of the month again, where did last month go?
\nI am linking to Shimelle<\/a> again with some thoughts about September, ten of course.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I love September. I love the fragrance
\nand colour of Autumn. It has a \u2018a new
\nstart\u2019 feel about it. It is the last quarter
\nof the year with Christmas at the end.<\/p>\n

I always take the first two weeks in
\nSeptember as annual leave<\/p>\n

Smaller children wearing their shiny
\nnew school uniforms start walking
\npast my window again <\/p>\n

Shimelle\u2019s Learn Something New
\nEveryday class starts<\/p>\n

The weather changes, the heating
\ngoes on, I un-pack my winter clothes
\nfrom their (short!) summer storage and
\nstart looking for a new winter coat and
\nhat. (I already bought new gloves!)<\/p>\n

Alan\u2019s annual birthday bash to which
\nall the family went this year. We meet
\nup with people from last year and of
\ncourse some new friends are made.<\/p>\n

There are three family birthdays, all
\ncelebrated at the party.<\/p>\n

Two family wedding anniversaries,
\nincluding ours, celebrated at the party.<\/p>\n

September 11 brings quiet and sobering
\nthoughts. <\/p>\n

The world around me changes colour,
\ntrees have their autumn leaves,
\nhedgerows laden with red berries for
\nthe birds and blackberries for us, if
\nwe\u2019re quick!<\/p>\n

Strictly is back on the TV!<\/p>\n
