I am linking to Kim Klassen’s Texture Tuesday<\/a> again this week. This time we can link our favourite pictures with one of Kim’s textures on. I just love playing with photoshop and textures, did I mention that before?<\/p>\n

I wanted to try something other than flowers this week. I absolutely love flowers and they are the perfect subject for adding texture but I wanted to see what else I could do.
\nI really love The Red Devon and the Cockerel. I think you get a sense of the rich colour and farmyard fragrance (!) from the darker textures.
\nThe Hen house picture was so cluttered but I really wanted to do something with it. I loved the apple tree in the sitting room, it was so unusual, I wanted to share it. Sweet Treat not to heavily brushed was the answer.<\/p>\n

The Photo of Fowey was so dark to start with. The good one had some people in but they weren’t adding anything to the shot so I returned to the dark one, set the blending mode to screen, added a couple of layers of the Grey Day texture and only brushed the house doors, the road and the textured wall and only on one layer.<\/p>\n

The waterwheel looks so lovely with the heavy Ben’s collection 6 texture, it has really come alive and is just right for me now.<\/p>\n

I loved the challenge that I gave myself, I Hope you like them too. I have set aside some more non flower pictures to play with!
\nI really love to know what textures have been used on a picture and the different blending modes that you use so, I have all the recipes written down for mine , if you want them, just e-mail me.<\/p>\n
