I have decided to leave it and come back to it.

Prompt 2

I like this one!
Letters an Numbers. It is all about using numbers and/or letters as a starting point for your writing

I have written letters to Ben since his first birthday. Usually on his birthday. I put them away in books and on shelves all over the place. I have no idea why I do that. I found a few and was able to put them in the book I made for his 21st.
This is a long winded way of saying I didn’t want to write a letter for this prompt, even though I loved the idea and the ones I saw on the forum were beautiful. I liked the idea of the numbers so I started that about my day yesterday. I noticed a pattern of letters forming so I combined the two ideas and finished up with this.

27.10.2010

At 1am this morning my phone rang. It was Ben with that sentence you never want to hear. “Mum I’ve been in a car crash, I’m Ok”…but you don’t hear that bit, just the crash bit. Yes he is OK. No one hurt, he is quite near home, no he doesn’t want me to come out. He’ll be home soon.

2 is the time he was home, fine, tired, cross, the police wouldn’t come out, the other driver had jumped a red light and she hit him side on, his car is a mess, other drivers were either cross, because the accident was blocking the road! or asking if they could help. She admitted it was her fault, no witnesses for Ben.

8 the time I dragged myself out of bed.
There were 9 e-mails in my box this morning.
The most important 1 from Shimelle, hers have been going into a spam folder I didn’t know about!
There were 3 gorgeous comments on my blog this morning. Which was just what I needed to cheer me up. After last night and having to go to the hospital in Bristol for a pre op appointment and Paul being away I felt really down this morning.
We went into Bristol on the Park & Ride, as there is nowhere to park in the city. The hospital is a mix of old & new. The front looks completely dreary, hardly surprising as it was built in 1732! but after going up and down, up and down, calling at 9 floors in the lift, we emerged into a beautiful new building complete with atrium and trees!
So, 2 bus journeys today!
My nurse was called Dennis; he was a Filipino gentleman with a kind and soothing voice. He did all my pre op assessments, which were all fine.
135/70 was my blood pressure, my height 167cm, I closed my eyes to avoid looking at my weight! Dennis was a perfect gentleman and didn’t tell me.
10 very sticky pads were needed for my ECG and gosh she whipped them off quick!!
4 pm was the time we got home, my back was hurting so much. Ben made us a lovely cup of tea while I made 2 phone calls. Neither were satisfactory.
40 minutes was how long it would take to cook our M & S ready meal.
0 was the amount of energy I had left to prepare anything else.
5 o’clock and the beef Lasagne was ready, it was absolutely wonderful. At
5.30 we left to take Ben to work. Clevedon is only 10 miles away and Ben doesn’t start work until 6.30 but the queue to get on the motorway is dreadful at this time of day.
I am going to try to rest until I have to go and pick him up later, I won’t close my eyes because I won’t be able sleep through the night. I’ll spend this evening posting today’s photo to my blog, and other nice blogging things!
4 is the number of Photos I have left to take and post on my blog this month. It has been a great project for me to do.
3 of the Rogers family have been in a hospital today: me, Jane and Mum-in-law. An almost unbelievable coincidence!
It has been a very long, tiring and emotional day today. I will be pleased when it is over.
9 pm is the time I started yawning tonight.
Ben rang me at 10 o’clock to say he was ready to be picked up but by the time I fiddled a bit with this and then had to get some fuel for my car it was 11 by the time we got home.
I finally got to finish this, press ‘save’ and noticed the time 23.33!
Time for some zzzzzzz
I am finishing this exercise, out of sequence, with these xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, for you. ‘nite nite

Prompt 1 The first prompt was to reply to questions you are frequently asked.
