{"id":10247,"date":"2014-01-06T22:50:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-06T22:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/?p=10247"},"modified":"2014-01-06T22:50:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-06T22:50:00","slug":"my-month-in-numbers-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/?p=10247","title":{"rendered":"My Month in Numbers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>December 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m joining in with <a href=\"http:\/\/notesonpaper.blogspot.co.uk\/2013\/12\/my-month-in-numbers-2013-december.html\">Julie<\/a> (that sounds like a little song!) by recording last month in numbers.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t actually keep a log of numbers, I use my calendar which serves as my mouse mat and my photos from the month to make the post. Not very technical but very accurate as I can&#8217;t move and go no-where if it&#8217;s not on my calendar. It is perfectly legible in Photoshop but by the time it arrived here I can&#8217;t read any of the numbers!! I&#8217;ll fix it before I print it.<\/p>\n<p><em>31 pictures taken for project 365, that completes another year.<\/p>\n<p>591 pictures taken this month  but then we were away for<br \/>\n4 nights as a pre Christmas treat and then there was Christmas. Santa was very generous indeed and gave me a<br \/>\n100 mm lens for my camera<\/p>\n<p>3 lunches with friends<\/p>\n<p>1 lunch with family\tin a fun place in the middle of no where. It was an old mill now a craft centre and shop selling all sorts as well as coffee every day and Sunday Lunches!. Ben said he wasn\u2019t sure about eating lunch in a shop although the pair of us had fun trying all the hats on whilst waiting for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>1 visit to the hairdresser, I have had enough of growing my hair now.<\/p>\n<p>2  nail appointments this month, just the way the days fell<\/p>\n<p>1 new carpet fitted. A gorgeous dark red in our hall stairs and landing&#8230;I love it!<\/p>\n<p>1 day with 2 appointments at the doctors surgery and 2 appointments at the dentist!!<br \/>\nGoodness knows how that happened.<\/p>\n<p>1 craft evening complete with nibbles, wine and our secret Santa<\/p>\n<p>1 lunch with my wednesday group. You may remember the fuss one of the ladies was making about our Christmas lunch. Well as it turned out, she didn\u2019t come!<br \/>\nMary made Duck terrine with confit of oranges which was \u2018to die for\u2019<br \/>\nI cooked a beautiful beef in red wine with chestnut dumplings for the main course and Jean and Sonia each made a dessert. No we couldn\u2019t move afterwards but we laughed a lot and evereyone was thrilled with their Secret Santa.<\/p>\n<p>52 cards received from Moo.com  The second half of the year of Looking Up and Down.<\/p>\n<p>6 days my dog was in the Kennels NOT a happy bunny or dog actually. <\/p>\n<p>3 sad days this month. Life also happens in December not just Christmas<\/p>\n<p>But we had 1 really fabulous, relaxed, fun, family Christmas Holiday.<\/p>\n<p><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/notesonpaper.blogspot.co.uk\/2014\/01\/my-month-in-numbers-communal-count-6.html\">and the Communal Count<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/06-Dec-The-Communal-Count.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/06-Dec-The-Communal-Count.jpg\" alt=\"06 Dec The Communal Count\" width=\"1024\" height=\"769\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/06-Dec-The-Communal-Count.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/06-Dec-The-Communal-Count-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/06-Dec-The-Communal-Count-399x300.jpg 399w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I watched<br \/>\n2 films for the life of me I can&#8217;t remember the names of!
